Warm-up and Exit Ticket
In this printable warm-up / bell-ringer activity, students will determine where they would establish the first mission in Texas using a map of Texas and its surrounding areas with the contemporary political boundaries. Students will provide a justification for their choice.
In this exit ticket, students are given a scenario in which they are missionaries in east Texas who have received a text message from the governor asking how things are going in east Texas. They respond to the governor. They provide what they believe the governor would say in response to them.
The Warm-up and Exit Ticket document includes two warm-ups on the front of the page and two exit tickets on the back of the page. This formatting reduces the number of copies needed, as teachers will cut each printed page in half. Each student will receive a half-page with the warm-up on the front and the exit ticket on the back.
